MARCAN Introduces Rimage Producer II CD-R/DVD-RDuplicator with New Print Technology (July 20, 2001) The Rimage Producer II CD-R/DVD-R publishing system, with new offset quality printing, is now available from leading CD/DVD solutions provider, MARCAN, Inc.

Using the Everest print technology, the new system produces full color, photorealistic disc surface labeling. Producer II also features faster disc read capability, at 16X, and a higher input disc capacity, at 300. In addition, new anti-piracy software offers CD producers protection from unauthorized duplication.


The new Everest printer color printing exceeds magazine print quality, enabling it to accurately reproduce color disc surface photos and other complex graphics. Everest print quality is robust, durable and fade-resistant, and it operates at high production rates for on-demand printing. Typical silk screen is 80 line screen, the Everest will do 160 line screen.
